Job Summary
Serves as a business and procurement specialist supporting the AFRL Sensors Directorate with strategic oversight, acquisition coordination, and program management for products, support services, and organizational IT-related acquisition needs. This role assists with the full spectrum of acquisition activities from market research through contract execution and compliance.
Work Location: Wright – Patterson AFB, OH
Clearance: Active SECRET required

Required Skills
Minimum Education
Master's in business, project management, engineering management, technology management, public administration, finance, or related. Bachelor's with extensive senior-level R&D portfolio/program management experience may be considered if approved.
Minimum Experience
8-15 years managing R&D portfolios, project execution, technology transfer, alliance management, patent/DPARS tracking, cooperative agreements, business/market analysis, industry partner research, stakeholder coordination, and executive reporting.

Required Skills
- Support planning, direction, tracking, and execution of R&D portfolios focused on AF weapon systems microelectronics security, reliability, and trustworthiness
- Provide ORTA and Alliance Management support, including DPARS case receipt, review, assignment, and tracking
- Monitor past-due suspense dates and coordinate reviewer actions on DPARS cases
- Support account reactivation and prioritize backlogged/expedited foreign filing license requests
- Update Technology Transfer systems with invention disclosures and IP Law Branch data
- Track USPTO filing/issuance information and patent maintenance fees
- Administer cooperative agreements and technology transfer documentation
- Compile Technology Transfer statistics and support DTAC presentations
- Coordinate agreement routing, business/market analysis, and industry partner identification
- Prepare executive reports, briefings, and portfolio status documentation
